The graffiti scene in Barcelona is unmatched!!! There's just no way to explain it. 😍 😍 😍
But as much graffiti as there is all over the city funny enough, you never really see anyone painting. Unless of course you head over to Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies.
Aka Three Chimneys which is an absolute mecca for graffiti, skating, bmx, breaking and all things hip hop culture.
Needless to say we spent many hours on many different days here just catching a vibe. New pieces go up daily and there was even a full blown concert one night!

If you're in Barcelona this musuem is a MUST. We just had a ball at @MOCOMUSEUM!!
Not only did they have pieces by some of art history's finest - Dali, Warhol, Haring, and Basquiat - but contemporary/Street artist faves too!
We got to oogle a serious collection of @banksy @kaws @takashipom @osgemeos @damienhirst @david_lachapelle @yayoikusama_ with a new mural at the end by @einesigns.
But the big take away for us was...
The incredible. Mind blowing. Breath taking. @guillermolorcagarcia from CHILE. His paintings crept into our mind and souls and are truly unforgettable masterpieces.

Well it makes sense when you think about it! Montana paint is made here in Barcelona and the city is so rooted in graffiti!
Not only can you buy paint here (😢 if only, Chicago!) but they have frequent events and exhibitions.
Needless to say we were elated to visit AND during the @pezbarcelona show nonetheless!
Pez is a household name in the street art world and this is his home turf so it was really exciting to visit and see so many of his pieces in person.
There was also a sweet display of train pieces and lots of @montana_colors goodies to oogle!

MUCHAS GRACIAS to @canal__gallery in Barcelona - located in the Gothic Quarter. Their current show is a deep dive into the darkness, featuring @psychoudini and @sr_gotta.
Walk into the basement and the show continues with sculptural pieces and additional canvas works to add to the main exhibit.
These two artists couldn't be more different in style and aesthetic yet they are a perfect pairing especially for those into the world of dark art... Ahem 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️
The gallery itself is another gorgeous building built in the 1800s w vaulted ceilings. Balu, the gallery owner was so kind and y'all know I'm taking home a piece from both artists!!

Our visit to @galeria_maxo was nothing short of amazing. They've got it going ON.
If you're in BCN looking for pop/ Street art inspired work by local and international artists at a very affordable price point....This is the place.
The gallery features all works on paper $150 and under! Most are 1/1s and limited editions...and sizeable too. About 28 x 24.
We visited 3 of 5...yes they have 5 LOCATIONS!
Everyone inside each gallery was so incredibly helpful and friendly and spoke multiple languages to accommodate all guests. We should take notes, ey?
Might be bringing home 4 pieces 🤪

Today in Barcelona we had the honor of visiting several contemporary / Street art galleries - first up is a tour of @baseelements gallery. Actually they have 2 locations here!
Currently, they're showing work from faves like @pezbarcelona, @dadara_art @morcky_troubles @phen_stylez @julian.lorenzo @konair & @soemmac (and many more)
The highlight was catching @ivanaflores.art painting live! Such a pleasure to meet this artist whose work is so detailed and fantastical down to the last drop.
The basement level is more of a studio set up so you can see the artists work stations and really get a feel for their creative processes.
Thanks for the hospitality!
