Long Story Short

Originally from Rockford, IL, Chicago based painter, Stukone has been a force in the graffiti scene for over 15 years all across the US. He specializes in small to large scale murals, inked drawings, illustrations, and typography. Stuk is especially interested in pushing the limits of perception as far as his aesthetic in the graffiti world. He’s known for taking risks with bright color schemes and unique compositions combined with extremely clean lines and design elements.

A year in the making, we’re so proud to announce Stuk One’s debut solo show!

“Long Story Short” is a typography/graffiti based show featuring over 40 original pieces of artwork incorporating familiar phrases presented in non-traditional ways.

Beyond cavas work, expect to see mixed media pieces, Stuk’s famous security cams, and a VERY SPECIAL (limited edition) collaboration between Stukone X Chicago Truborn X Grassroots Chicago.

And, of course, Stukone will be creating two instore window installations that will leave you speechless… To be unveiled at the opening reception.
