About the artists:
Lauren Asta
Lauren Asta is a traveling muralist/artist who left her home base in San Francisco to follow her paint brush. She specializes in illustration, oddity art, doodle art, street art and murals. Her mural work has caught on like wildfire here in Chicago. If you somehow have not encountered one of her gigantic murals in West Town, Pilsen, or West Loop, perhaps you’ve seen her work in Chicago’s Google office, Blick, or at the 2017 Vans US Open of Surfing. Her murals are all hand painted without any aid of a sketch, projector, or traced outlined: She works completely free hand. Lauren has never shown work in Chicago before so be sure not to miss her highly anticipated debut.
Nate Otto
Nate Otto is a Chicago based artist and illustrator. Primarily known for his dense and illustrative cityscapes on panels, Nate has developed multiple idiosyncratic painting styles of his own for years. He’s shown work in numerous established galleries all over the US and has recently completed projects for esteemed organizations who value creativity such as Facebook, Basecamp, Nike, The Distance, Northwestern University, Clif Bar, and Uprise.
