ABOUT

As a full time gallery and boutique showcasing local and international artists alike, Chicago Truborn features artists who mainly  paint with aerosol. Every 5 weeks, a new exhibition is featured (either a solo or group show). One facet of the gallery, that has set us aside from the others, revolves around the space itself. Each time we feature a new show – the artist paints two, site specific, in store murals to coincide with their body of work.

Chicago Truborn is 100% woman owned and operated. As the gallery director and public art production specialist, Sara Dulkin’s influence extends far beyond the gallery’s walls.  She has spearheaded large-scale mural projects such as the Wabash Arts Corridor, the West Town Public Arts Initiative, and Tri-Taylor’s iconic “Chicago’s Most Instagrammable Alley.

The gallery has earned the reputation, and the title of, “Best Established Gallery” for being highly innovative, approachable, and affordable while maintaining a high caliber of artistry. The gallery was built upon the notion that anyone can “Become A Collector”. Enjoying and consuming artwork should not be an intimidating experience, or, one reserved for the 1%. Please come on in, ask questions, take pictures, and let us help you #BECOMEaCOLLECTOR.

“TLDR: we sell art and make bad ass murals!”

The Chicago Truborn name has grown immensely through our vital role in the public arts scene and dedication to mural production. Sara has curated and site managed over 100 murals in and around Chicago – partnering with public organizations and private clients alike.

Once you’re a part of this city there’s an undeniable connection formed – a ride or die mentality.

THAT is Chicago Truborn – YOU are Chicago Truborn
